Málaga has a very mild climate. Each year, the city enjoys about 330 days of pure sun, with an average yearly temperature at a cool 22°C. At the lower elevations along the sea, the yearly average temperature is 18°C rising to 24°C in August, the warmest month on the Costa del Sol.
